Standards Under Public Review

This draft of AHRI Standard 1230-202x (I-P), Performance Rating of Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Multi-Split Air-conditioning and Heat Pump Equipment, is open for public review March 2,2026 through April 1, 2026.

The purpose of this public review is to solicit technical comments from stakeholders on this revision, which contains the following updates to the previous edition:

• Update the standard to be easier to understand and is clearer
• Fix various small errors found in the document
• Consider adding a required nominal to rated capacity ratio
• Any deferred public comments will be considered
• Review CVP sections and make necessary changes
