AHRI Standards Technical Committees (STCs)

Standards Technical Committees (STCs) are standing committees formed by and reporting to the applicable Standards Subcommittee (SSC). A STC is responsible for developing, approving, and maintaining one or more standards and/or guidelines within a scope assigned by the SSC.

STC membership is open to 1) any person employed by or representing an AHRI member company or 2) any person interested in or affected by AHRI standards or employed by or representing an organization interested in or affected by AHRI standards but that is not eligible for AHRI membership. STC membership may include both voting members and non-voting participants as outlined in AHRI Standards Committee Policy & Procedures, Section 4.4.2.

To be considered for STC membership, submit a completed “AHRI Conflict of Interest Policy Acknowledgement and Disclosure of Other Interests” form to the noted Executive Assistant. AHRI reserves the right to deny STC membership to any person not meeting STC membership requirements.
